We’ve been working hard behind the scenes with blue bee, a creative agency based in Salisbury, to develop a brand-new look for Elmtree. We have a fresh new brand identity, complete with an updated logo and a shiny new website.

Celebrating 40 years with a rebrand
This journey began with a rebrand to coincide with our 40th anniversary – a huge milestone we wanted to celebrate in style.
Our business is modern and progressive but with family-run values at its core, and we needed our branding to reflect that.
First, blue bee worked with us to change our strapline. During a brainstorming session with the team, we discussed our family-led, personalised approach to projects. We also stressed the importance of communication. As a result, our former strapline, ‘Signage Solutions from Concept to Completion’, evolved into the shorter, more impactful ‘Your Brand, Our Business’.
We asked blue bee for a brand that reflected our energy and passion for what we do. We needed to elevate our old look to something more professional which reflect our wide-ranging portfolio. Their talented designers delivered just what we asked for, and we couldn’t be happier.
Where our logo was simple before with green and grey as the primary colours, our new logo features a bright, stylised ‘e’ – not unlike our LED illuminations. The logo features new colours inspired by CMYK, which we use to print. Look closely, and you’ll find a nod to our original logo in the green.
The striking palette carries through the redesign for a consistent feel.
A daring new look for our website
We wanted a daring website refresh that would take us in a new direction. For this reason, we opted for a dark colour scheme rather than a safe white background.
The deep teals for the background make the text and images pop. Believe it or not, dark colours are more eco-friendly too, allowing your screen’s pixels to be less bright and therefore less power. We’re committed to sustainability and try to make environmental choices wherever we can.
In the style of our signage, the website now boasts large cards, accordion sections, and calls to action. We had an expansive bank of photographs from past projects to choose from, which the new design showcases beautifully, too.
The new website is also much easier to navigate. Since we cover the entire process for jobs of any scope, we understand the need to keep things in order. Our website navigation has been tidied up, so you can find what you’re looking for with ease.
A bespoke WordPress site
The easier the site is for our team to use, the easier it will be to keep it updated. The bespoke build means it was developed especially for us and our requirements. WordPress is easy to content manage, so we can keep it up to date with our latest projects.
