The brief
Spaces moved into an entire floor at the newly converted Mailboxes Centre in Central Birmingham and required the Spaces branding throughout the buildout. As the preferred supplier for Regus and Spaces we were contacted directly by IWG to create visuals and plans for all way finding, manifestation and safety signage to meet corporate guidelines.
The timeline
5 day turnaround from completion of building works to our handover with the client. Several teams of installers worked in pairs over two shifts, working early mornings into late evenings.
Challenges
Preparation, preparation, preparation
We needed to wait for all contractors to finish and clear out to avoid dust and contamination when applying etch manifestation. Therefore, the main challenge was the tight turnaround time and short install windows. We ensured that as much manufacture and preparation as possible was undertaken before our install window, maximising the volume of work we could complete on site.
